TGIF

Yesterday evening I decided to lift with Z. He had me lift heavy after doing a warm up of running for 10 minutes on the old treadmill at 6.2-6.5. I had a hard time because it is different and I can't lift as heavy as I want/need to break a sweat yet, but I'm going to try not the compare my light weight high rep routine. I've decided to work with Z for 3 months. That is what I did for my trainer and it's the least I can do for my BF who is trying to help me see results. This should be a shock to my system and help push the shedding of the poundage. We'll see.
This morning 157.8 Bah. Not going to pay attention to the numbers. I'm just going to note them and move on. I'll weigh in again tonight after working out. This weigh in was after eating a Morningstar sausage patty and a slice of whole wheat bread, 16oz of coffee with 1/8 cup of no sugar added Swiss miss and 1/2 Tbsp of FF non dairy creamer at least 24 oz of water and a 50 minute elliptical workout.
Moving on... Trying to keep a positive attitude. Whenever I feel myself "going to the dark side" as Z refers to it... snort! I try to envision iridescent silvery white light and a happy place and breathe. The moment passes and I try to think of what I was just thinking of negatively, positively. Make sense? ;) I'm trying... So far so good.
Yesterday food was roughly around 1500 calories. I'm trying to play with www.fitday.com again. Tonight Z and I are doing legs, so I should be able to break a pretty good sweat as I've got pretty darn strong legs. I'll just try to remember that the goal is not the sweat profusely like I have during my lifts before. I'm just going to lift as heavy as I can as consistently as I can until failure. The benefits will be the after burn of fat "after" the lifting. I'll keep on repeating that.
I'm not starving today, so that is good. I wasn't overly hungry yesterday either. Z got us a chocolate peanut butter protein shake from the Pro Club after our late night workout. Yummy! It was a nice treat. I had not cookies or ice cream yesterday and I didn't miss them which is even better. One day down...
