Yay! Success

So I've lost 7 lbs so far. I weighed myself this mornig for the first time since starting to drink my protein shakes, lifting heavy and doing an intense 20 minutes of cardio (about 3 weeks) and things are going good. Today is a day off so it was a nice way to start off the day.
Z, his best friend and I will be seeing his bro & his buddy today who is back from Iraq. Can't wait to catch up, eat dinner, and have a beer with them. It might be a late night but that is all good. I just hope nothing breaks on the network because I'm on call - doh!
I'm back at 158.8 (no bowel movement first thing this morning with no clothes) so that is major improvement. Z also estimates that I've put on maybe 2 lbs of muscle during the process so that is way cool as well. Looking forward to continuing on with this to see how my strength improves and my weight goes down. Sticking with the game plan though we migh switch it up in another 3 weeks because then it will be 6 weeks and time to spice things up a bit. One day at a time.
