My girl friend T burned the aforementioned pics onto a CD for me. Now all I need to do is find the time to pack the few things that are left from the house and contact L's best friend J to ask him to take the items out of my hands. I think I'll feel much better when this is done.
As for the pictures and memories I think that it's healthy to reflect on things every once in a while. It shows you where you've been and how far I've come. I've learned to love again with my entire being. Not with one hand outstretched and one hand firmly closed behind my back. That alone is a HUGE feat. I found the man of my dreams.
Someone who loves me like no one else ever has.
Someone who cherishes me.
Someone who I respect.
Someone who will make a good father.
Someone who filled the missing puzzle piece of my heart perfectly.
He completes and compliments me in every way. For that I am most grateful.
As for the hike, we made yet another trip to REI for a few items. We need one more trip to the store and then we are ready to head out tomorrow morning. I CAN'T WAIT!
As for food, I've not been watching things that closely. I'm still trying to make good food choices and watch how much I eat, but I'm also letting myself "enjoy" food right now and not trying to make myself neurotic about things.
As for exercise, I've been pretty good. Yesterday we didn't get to the gym (too busy), but we did two light 3 mile walks (total of 6 miles) in the boots to get a feel for things and them broken in for the hike instead.
All in all, it's been a busy week and I'm still tired, but very excited, feeling very loved, and comfortable with where my life is right now AND where it's going in the future.
I'm content.
